Orange Ginger Turmeric Tonic

A cold-busting morning tonic, made with freshly squeezed orange, lime, grated ginger and a pinch of turmeric for a nourishing shot to drink right before your morning tea or coffee!

Orange Ginger Turmeric Tonic

Yield: Half Cup of Tonic for 1 individual portion size
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 0
Total Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients & Utensils

1 cup  

1 Orange

Half of a Lime/ 1 teaspoon of Lime Concentrate 

1-2 pinches Turmeric 

1 teaspoon Fresh Ginger, grated 

1 teaspoon of Raw Honey 



Let's Get Cooking!

1. Into your cup, add the Turmeric, grated Ginger, Raw Honey and the juice of an Orange and a Lime. 


2. Stir with a spoon then drink up in one shot!

Notes

1. Ginger Hack: If you don't have a grater, you can also grate Ginger using a Fork. Carefully run your fork up and down the Ginger; alternatively, cut a thin slice of Ginger and finely mince this with a knife. Then add it directly to the tonic. 


2. Substitutions: If you don't have an Orange you can always use a Lemon - any citrus fruits would work in this tonic.
